India hosted the FIFA U-17 world cup for the first time, Indian team qualified for the AFC Asia Cup 2019 for the first time but while Indian football fans were busy celebrating the resurgence of Indian football we have a shocking news.
The senior team players have revolted against the current manager Stephen Constantine. According to sources seniors, players in the Indian national team do not feel Stephen Constantine technically equipped to lead Indian team in AFC Asia Cup 2019.

According to the sources, players met Kushal Das and have asked for the technical assessment of the coach. This is a bit of shocking considering it was under British coach Indian football an had unbeaten streak in Asia which helped them qualify for the AFC Asia Cup 2019.
Players, it is believed, may even meet the AIFF president Praful Patel and complain against the coach.
Constantine joined Indian team in 2015 when India was languishing in the FIFA ranking. In just gap of 2 years, Indian team hit their all-time high ranking. For a lot of fans, this is surprising news. The Englishmen took Team India to the top 100 in the FIFA rankings for the first time in 20 years, an achievement which received a lot of praise from former and current players.
The fans around the country have expressed their views about the coach and unhappiness of players.
