PSG having a great season on the field in the French league, but of late, they are facing dressing room crisis. The team is divided into two halves and with all the issues, they host German giants Bayern Munich in UEFA Champions League.

PSG dropped their first points of the season at the weekend as they were held to a frustrating goalless draw away to Montpellier, but the main talking point was world record signing Neymar’s absence.

UEFA Champions League 2017/18 Preview: PSG vs Bayern Munich Match Preview

People linked the absence of Neymar with the squad to the bust-up with Edison Cavani last week. Fortunately for the PSG fans, he was missing due to a minor foot injury, and behind the scenes, talks have cleared the air between the two-star attackers.

That minor foot problem is thought to heal well, so we can expect to see Cavani and Neymar in action again on Wednesday. PSG has looked extraordinary at times this season, winning eight of their nine competitive matches and opening their Champions League campaign with a 5-0 battering of Celtic earlier this month.

The opposition has their own talisman in the dangerous Robert Lewandowski. The Polish marksman has been in typically lethal form this season with eight goals in seven appearances for Bayern Munich. He has already scored half the goals Bayern have so far, he also scored 30 goals last season in the Bundesliga for the team. Lewandowski may be in fine form, but the rest of Bayern Munich has been left exposed at times this season.

Their unbeaten start came to an end after they lost to Hoffenheim and last week, giving up a two-goal lead to Wolfsburg, dropping another two points, pushing them to the third position the Bundesliga table.

Bayern doesn’t have a great away record in the UEFA Champions League. They have lost four of their last six trips away in the competition, including an unforgivable 3-2 loss at Rostov.

With PSG in such good form at the moment, we’re backing that along with a 2-1 victory over Bayern Munich.
