FIFA World Cup 2018: Host Russia Prelimnary Sqaud

The Russian Football Union have shortlisted 28 player list for the mega event hosted by the country next month. FIFA World Cup 2018 will be hosted by Russia in 11 cities.

The Russian will be playing two friendlies against Austria and Turkey. The 23 men sqaud for the World Cup will be selected after these two matches. Host Russia is placed with Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Uruguay in Group A. It will be difficult group stage for the host. Egypt and Uruguay will be the toughest competitors in their group.

Russia will be hosting the FIFA World Cup for the first time and the host will look to put up a good show for the fans. Fedor Chalov of CSKA Moscow has rewarded for his excellent performance in the Russian Premier League.
