FIFA u-17 world cup 2017 Kolkata Group will kick off in few hours. The Group F which will be played at Salt Lake stadium Kolkata will see England, Chile, Iraq, and Mexico playing their opening matches.

England having a great year both at senior and Junior level. England recently won FIFA U-20 World Cup in Korea and now the U17 team will look to emulate that in India.

Steve Cooper coached side are one of the favorites to win the title. They will start their campaign against Chile at 5 pm IST at Salt Lake Stadium. England is one of the experienced sides in the tournament with a couple of players have played professional matches in England.

The star-studded England will settle nothing less than 3 points.

The football fans in Kolkata will get to witness two of the most promising talent going around in the Europe. FIFA U-17 World Cup 2017: Asian Champions face North American Champions

The second match of the day will be between Asian champions Iraq and North American Champions Mexico.

Iraq rise in the Asian football is credible, they are the only nation to win all the Major tournament in Asia at all youth level. This will be their second appearance in the FIFA u-17 world cup. They previously played in UAE edition where they lost all the three group matches. They would like to improve on that performance, they are a well-prepared team than last time.

All eyes will be on the Mohammed Dawood, the number 7 shown his class in the AFC Cup. This will be a big moment for the youngsters from a war-torn country, they would look forward to showcasing their talent in front of the world.

Mexico on other hand is a strong favorite to win the match. They are coming from a strong preseason preparation. Mexico has a lot of firepower in ranks to unleash on the Asians. The two-time champions will look to start the tournament on a winning note.
