This season will be the first time Huddersfield Town have played in the English top-flight football since the creation of Premier League.They got into the Premier League via the playoffs last season which was a big surprise to all.A team which came back to the Championship after the 2000-01 season finished 19th,17th,16th,19th position respectively until last year when they finished 5th and made it to the playoffs and eventually winning the match against Reading FC in the penalty shoot-out.

Jonas Lossl will be playing as first choice keeper for Huddersfield Town, the Danish keeper is on loan from Mainz 05. 

Defenders: Tommy Smith, Scott Malone, Mark Hudson, Martin Cranie, Chris Lowe, Mathias Jorgensen, Christopher Schindler, Jon Gorenc Stankovic, Michael Hefele.

Tommy Smith is one of the pillars of last year success of Huddersfield Town in the championship. He has been given captains armband this season and the skipper has to bring his A game in the premier league. Mathias Jorgenson has been signed from Copanhegan, The 27-year-old Denmark international has wealth of experience under his belt.He is a good buy by the manager. 

Midfielders: Dean Whitehead, Jonathan Hogg, Sean Scannell, Philip Billing, Aaron Mooy, Harry Bunn, Jack Payne, Rajiv van La Parra, Joe Lolley, Danny Williams, Tom Ince, Kasey Palmer, Regan Booty.

Australian Aaron Mooy was exceptional for the Huddersfield Town, his performance in the championship for the club was so good that the club had to sign him from his parent club Manchester City. He played the perfect role of linking with attackers, it will be interesting to see how he perform in the premier league for the club. Sean Scannell has experience of playing in the premier league, the Irish International will be cherished on his return to the Premier league and will hope not to drop down to the championship again. 

Forwards: Elias Kachunga, Laurent Depoitre, Nahki Wells, Collin Quaner, Steve Mounie.

David Wagner has made three major signings in the forward line ups, He signed last year hero Elias Kachunga permanently from Ingolstadt 04. The Congo forward was in sublime form for the club in Championship. Another Major signing is Steve Mounie from French league club Montpellier, The youngster recently made his debut for his national side and playing in premier league will be really great for his career.

David Wagner has been Huddersfield Town’s head coach since November 2015, winning promotion to the Premier League in his first full season.The forward represented the United States 8 times in his career but played most of his club career in Germany.He has previously managed Borussia Dortmund II.
