Arsene Wenger Side certainly one of the most attractive team on the field, the style of play is eye catching and grab eye balls of the fans but having said that its been a while Arsenal have won a major trophy.
Wenger is probably the only manager in current premier league manager roster who has seen two decades with a single club. He gave the world an invincible back in the days but since the triumph Arsenal has failed to reach that level again. They do finish in the top 4, but the fans frustration is growing every season. They have been rather quiet in the transfer window apart from the major signing of Alexandre Lacazette.

Squad:

Goalkeeper: David Ospina, Petre Cech.

Arsenal has two of the best goal keepers the world has seen, David Ospina and Petre Cech. The two will be competing with each other to find the slot in the starting XI.

Defenders: Keiran Gibbs, Per Mertesacker, Laurent Koscielny, Gabriel, Nacho Monreal, Shkodran Mustafi, Calum Chambers, Hector Bellerin, Carl Jenkinson, Sead Kolasinac.

The defensive line looks pretty much similar to last season with just a new addition in form former Schalke defender Sead Kolasinac The Bosnia international moved to London on a free transfer, He will have to work really hard to walk in the first eleven of the team.

Midfielders: Aaron Ramsey, Jack Wilshere, Mesut Ozil, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Santi Carzola, Jeff Reine- Adelaide, Granit Xhaka, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Francis Coquelin, Mohammed Elneny.

Arsenal always boasts strongest and creative midfield in the league, and this season will not throw any surprise. The midfield has loads of players who can create numerous opportunities. The midfielders can literally boss the midfield on their own. Mesut Ozil, Granit Xhaka, Santi Carzola all have 360 vision to create problems for opposition defenders. Jack Wilshere had good season at Bournemouth before he got injured, he will take last season confidence going in the season.

Forwards: Alexis Sanchez, Alexandre Lacazette, Olivier Giroud, Alex Iwobi, Danny Welbeck, Chuba Akpom, Lucas Perez.

Arsenal always found wanting in the final third of the game, they created a lot of chances from midfield but they were not able to convert into goals. Alexis Sanchez last season found all alone in the final third of the game. Olivier Giroud never had an impact which likes of Thierry Henry had. The signing of Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon surely will help that forward line, he is proven goal scorer in the French League.

Probable Starting XI: Petre Cech; Laurent Koscielny, Nacho Monreal, Per Mertesacker, Hector Bellerin; Mesut Ozil, Santi Cazorla, Aaron Ramsey; Alexis Sanchez, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain; Alexandre Lacazette

Manager Profile: Arsene Wenger

Arsene Wenger has won all major trophies in his career at Arsenal but the Frenchmen have not won a major trophy for a very long time since his last trophy. This season could be his decisive season in Arsenal career. He needs to give his supporters something to cheer, a league victory will be the biggest gift for his fans in last few years at Arsenal.

Player To Watch Out

Alexis Sanchez – The forward is in the prime of his career, he gave one of the best seasons for Arsenal last year and he was disappointed for not winning major trophies. The Forward looked unsettled at the end of the last season but now has settled down and looked forward to linking up with Alexandre Lacazettte. Sanchez has shown what kind devastating player he is in Confederation Cup of Russia. He would love to win a trophy this season and put last year frustration to the bed.
