Arsenal FC has shortlisted Jonny Evans of the West Brom to bring stability to the defence. Arsene Wenger has shown willingness to pay £25m to take the 30-year-old Northern Ireland international to Emirates Stadium. The Irish defender has been exceptional at the West Brom and he is in his prime.
Evans joined West Brom from Manchester United for £6m in August 2015. Evans still has 18 months remaining on his Baggies contract but he has told the club he has no interest in signing a new deal.
