The Indian team had a nightmare of the AFC U-19 Championship qualifiers. The Indian team is out of the qualification race but now it’s all about pride. India will face Turkmenistan in the last match of the qualifiers.

The Indian coach Luis Norton de Matos is under tremendous pressure of giving the results. Failure to produce a positive result with the young Indian team has put him on the wrong side of the fans.

The Portuguese yet to sign for the Indian developmental side in the I-league and a defeat tonight possibly could be his last day in Indian football.

Fans, in particular, has been severe on social media after omission of fan favorites like Komal Thatal and Aniket Jhadav. It will be a huge pressure match for the Portuguese, a must-win situation for the team and the coach.

India even though managed to salvage a draw against Yemen, the performance was way below par against a war-torn country. Turkmenistan on other hand lost both of their matches but had a better outing against Saudi Arabia.

Both the teams are out of the qualifiers race but the match will decide who will finish last in the group. Turkeminstan will look to add more misery on Indian team who will under loads of pressure from the fans. Indian team has experience of playing in the world cup and fans were expecting a better outing from the team.
