This will a first ever meeting between India and Macau in International Football. India is on top of the table after winning both their matches against Myanmar and the Kyrgyz Republic. Macau is last in the group and is yet to open their goal tally in the group. They have also let in the most number goals.

On the other hand, India is high on confidence after winning the Hero Tri-nations Cup in Mumbai a week back.

Weather could play an important role during the qualifiers as in the last few weeks have seen a heavy wind flow.

Skipper Sunil Chhetri and star goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh Sandhu who had missed the Hero Tri-nations Cup due to their club commitments are back with the squad.

After missing 4 games, Udanta Singh is back with the national side who had played an important role in the away win against Myanmar. Although India managed to win the Hero Tri-nations Cup, the performance was not up to the mark and India will be hoping to put up a strong performance away from home.
